Story Wine

This label series was designed for Story Wines, a small California winery known for expressive, small-lot vintages. The concept centers on restraint: removing visual noise so the wine itself becomes the focal point.

Working with Story Wines, the design strips the label down to its simplest elements—texture, typography, and color. Each bottle features a hue derived from the wine itself, allowing the palette to communicate the character of the vintage.

The result is a minimal composition where the bottle becomes a canvas and the wine’s natural palette becomes the artwork. When grouped together, the bottles form a quiet spectrum of color that reflects the diversity of the wines inside.
